3gs disabled<< which firmware to use >> - GSM-Forum

i have 3gs in disabled condition , when try to update it with iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore always gives error <<< iphone could not restored the device isnot eligible for requested build >>>>

i want to know ..........
do i need to update it with 4.2.1....
if yes then is it remain untethered jailbreak with redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
any other good procedure to make phone in working condition...

update -->> untethered jailbreake-->> unlock

Use 4.1 to restore , jaillbreak and update baseband with redsnow and unlock with ultrasnow.

already tried to restore with 4.1 but always device isnot eligible... any other way
