3gs modem firmware 05.16.02 unlockable or not ??
 

I think should be ios.4.3.1. And the only solution is update to iPad bb.06.15 via redsn0w 0.9.6r5 but you will lost GPS function during iPad no GPS.

Or waiting for new Ultrasn0w will coming out soon. (soon is no ETA because I wait for about 6 month for its not release yet)

05.16 is not unlockable you must upgrade it to 06.15.

how upgrade it to 06.15 and it is unlockable

All 3gs with 4.3.1 below firmware are unlockable


Use Redsnow to jailbreak upgrade Modem firmware after that use ultra snow for unlocking
use search button for procedure

yes check ipad baseband on redsnow
dont forget to use same firmware on your handset redsnow required that same firmware before you proceed to jailbroken

restore with 4.1 fimeware and unlock 100% tested

anyway i'm on 4.1 firmware and 05.16.02 baseband modem firmware.
it's locked and currently i can't find any other method to unlock.
the only method is upgrade to ipad baseband. so how?

Lol we shoudn't even say that the word"soon" waiting for the unlock has become a joke now.

1. Download iphone 3gs 4.1 firmware
2. In Itunes press shift and click on restore
3. Select the downloaded version 4.1
4. Let it restore
5. Jailbreak with redsnow and flash ipad baseband
6. Install ultrasnow
7. Enjoy

If you ask us about the E.T.A for this thing, As we told before and we will say the same. It will come after iPhone 4 Unlock. So wait will be longer and those who didn’t updated to iPad baseband must not Update and they should wait for the further confirmation. They might be able to Downgrade from 5.16 and below.
