3gs Needs Tethered Boot Always? - GSM-Forum

I have a 3gS on custom 4.1 ,after itunes restore it entered DFU mode
I Checked just boot tethered and it booted fine
After sometime when the screen turned off it again entered DFu mode requiring a tethered boot.

Y does my fone enters dfu mode after screen is turned off for sometime
how can i solve this

3gs need tethered boot if you have 4.2.1 os in yr fone..
for this problem i ask if you was downgraded yr phone from 4.2.1 to 4.1?

Exactly I shouldnt be needing tethered boot on 4.1 even on new 3gs boot rom
yea i downgraded from 4.2.1 to 4.1
but the main problem is iphone enters dfu mode after screen remains off for sometime...
same behaviour on 4.1 and 4.2.1

no; i was tested downgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.1 and i have some big problem like you sayd befor...
the only sollution its return to 4.2.1

mine enters dfu mode even when on 4.2.1 ...

same problem too ! and in 4.2.1 i have the same problem as you ! please is there any fix for that :S
