Before entering DFU mode turn iphone off normaly, I mean turn it off by sliding off slide. Only after that hold power + home to enter DFU. Hope understood what I wanted to tell ... ;D

Restore again 4.1 then flash to safe mode cydia+ ipad basband. Of course solve you'r problem.

100% solustion
1 = downgrad 4.1 ver
2= jailbreak 9.6rc9 update basband with this redsnow
3= then u can restore with 5.0.1
4= only jailbreak with latast redsnow
5= just install ultrasnow 1.2.5
6= reset network setting

It is only valid for 3Gs with firmware 4.1 (because apple still sign this firmware till now)
