3gs sim card error - GSM-Forum

Hi,
i hv a iphone 3gs,5.0.1, after unlocking i can't activate it .phone keeps searching and after 3 MINUTES gives that message ''NO SIM''. if i connect with iTunes i get that message '' THERE IS NO SIM CARD IN THE PHONE YOU WANT TO ACTIVATE''

any idea how to resolve this issue?????

first you need send all the iformation possible: baseband ( modem firmware), how you make the procedure, factory date ( or 05 digits of you s/n ) etc
review your imei, bluetooth address and wifi address, if is present downgrade to 4.1 with custom firmware, then reinstall baseband 06.15 with redsnow, i fix exactly same problem with this procedure

did you sync with itunes b4 u jailbreaked?
that way you are sure ur iphone been activated,
im not sure with v5.0.1 but when this happen to me,
with v4.x i just run redsnow jailbreak again,with only the option "deactivate" ticked,
then activate with itunes,,,you can then unlock,,,
if applicable to v5.x (i dont know)u will just av to try,,,
and let us all know...

+ uninstall ultra snow 1st,,if you used ultasnow from cydia...
then do above..

reflash the baseband if not solvet downgrade on 4.1

downgrade to 4.1 then jailbreak and instal ipad baseband.problem will solve.tested many phones.
