3gs stuck in dfu mode evrytime - GSM-Forum

hi all
plz if u have solution for this problem help me
pblme: after jailbreak my phone stuck in dfu mode and when i try to restore it i have this message ( 1618)
i have the last version itunes and custom fimware 4.2.1
and i try to remove battry but pblme is the same
i try with five computer but pblme same and error message is the same
my pblme is not hardware because my iphone is new new work 100%
plz if one have solution post it here :'(

happend with me today i opened the iphone and removed the battery for like 15 minutes and then set it back all good the iphone working again but stuck on the itunes logo trying to solve it somehow...

GO and read my latest thread to get this done. You seem to have the same problem i had but i found a way. go try it and tell me if it goes for you

ur pblme is easy u can solve it by restore with custome fw is available here
fw 4.2.1 all will be ok

I am facing same problem and i have 2 iphone with which r working well but after jailbreak when i restore stuck in dfu mode every time when i restore and now getting error 28 before restoring.
I have done alot of pcs of iphone ok but i don't know what wronge with these 2 ..

after doing Restore & Jailbreak process your device will not boot ... no worry just follow the steps..( this is only for successfully restored & jailbreak ed device)

use redsn0w 0.9.6b6

target 4.1 IPSW file

press next

select " just boot tethered right now "

press next

rest process will done automatically because your phone is already in DFU or Recovery mode

now you can use your stucked phone temperory

( do the same with 4.2.1)

now download 4.1 stock firmware for 3gs

clear edited host file from windows

restore 4.1 ( stock ) with iTunes

use redsn0w 0.9.6b6 to jailbreak ( use i Pad base-band )

rest of thing is very common so do it and enjoy...
