4.1 and 4.2.1 Jailbreak and Unlocking ? - GSM-Forum

Hi All,

While going through this Forum and the internet there are many posts and blog sites which are just confusing me more and letting me know any thing on jailbreaking and unlocking the version 4.1 and 4.2.1

I just want to know if the version 4.1 and 4.2.1 can be unlocked on all basebands on Windows XP ???

A few days back a i got a phone from a client which was stuck in iBoot and the phone just did not do anything ...

I tried restoring it however got the error 1015 everytime ... it was a 3G on 3.1.2 .... Now i had to forcefully put it into DFU and restore it ... got the same error however the baseband of the phone got upgraded to 05.15.04 and the version now was 3.1.3 ... The restore was not complete though ... Now there was no network on the phone ... I had to restore it to 4.2.1 and then i jailbreaked it with Redsn0w redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5 .... I further went on to run ultrasn0w and everything went OK ... it even said reboot device ... Just that the phone has no network i am unable to check weather my phone is unlocked or not ...

Need expert help on this ....

not all baseband can be unlock.

My question still remains unanswered ...

What about 3G 4.1 and 4.2.1 ...... 3GS 4.1 , 4.2.1 both on baseband 05.15.04 .... Is that possible ????
