if u not have original sim than just use redsn0w for jaibreak

i got the same problem pak555 it doesnt work even after using the latest redsn0w and ticking deactivate

dear it will work i did a 3gs today without original simcard. just used

1. restore with custom firmware 5.0.1(created with snowbreeze just check preserve basebadn option only)
2. Use the latest redsnow

3. choose only jailbreak
4. then "install Cydia"
Once you complete the jailbreak the phone will show you to setup the language then you can see something for connecting "WIFI" skip that option,
after that follow the screen until you see the option "start as new phone" it will work perfectly...

creat Activated custom firmware 5.0.1 with sn0wbreeze-v2.8b11

this is thetred this no problem

aftere restore use i booty 5.0.1 for iphone starting

after open cydia update then udate cydia

go to serch bar in sydia then type corona

inistall this
You can now reboot your device with an untethered jailbreak!

done.................
