Dev Team Member Finds Bug In iOS 5 That Can Lead To Untethered Jailbreak

Today one of the well known iPhone hackers came up with a new information, that the jailbreaking community is getting more closer to an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5, many people who suffer their iOS tethered jailbreak, and need untethered jailbreak for iOS 5, finally you will be able to run untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 on your iDevice as soon as possible.

The well known iPhone hacker pod2g has just tweeted the following:

Hey jailbreaking friends, I’ve found a bug that can untether iOS 5. Don’t expect a release soon, but I’m gonna work hard in it.

No details about the bug has been given, but he got a userland exploit as like the other 5 userlands which where announced by the well known hacker p0sixninja.

Coming back to today’s update: pod2g hasn’t given any ETA but has promised to work hard on it to get it out as soon as possible.
