After update 3GS to iOS 5 insert sim? - GSM-Forum

I have got a 3GS that was 100% working fine on orange uk that was until it was updated to iso5 now it does not ready and sim card, even when it has a simcard inserted and connected to iTunes, iTunes says they is no simcard inserted?

Has anyone else come a cross this?

apart from itunes informing you there's no sim card, do you have "NO SIM" on the iphone or is it a different message.

please clarify.

But aloa the phone is not activated either as we can't coz it des not find no network

yeah good idea m8, jailbrake and unlock a 3gs running iso 5, i see you nowt about the gsm seen, go and paly withy you dolls.

if you have ipad baseband 06.15 on 3gs, then reflash the ipad baseband, then problem with no sim is solved. After update to ios5 with ipad baseband there is problem with baseband and phone says no sim
