Any way to enter DFU without using Power/Sleep button? - GSM-Forum

Hi mates.

Any way the above mentioned problem can be overcome?

Need to flash 6.15 baseband and no idea how to do it. Tried some commands from cmd but not working.

without power button, I believe there´s no way. just conect a working power flex and do it, it´s what I do when customer wants and unlock, for example, but doesn´t wanna repair.

use RecBoot 1.3 for windows
and RecBoot 2.2 for mac

Its NOT recovery mode mates. its DFU mode.

Problem is not from flex. Already tried that. Just need to flash 6.15 baseband to it. Right now its on 4.1. All i need is to finish the job with redsnow9.6. However am stuck since problem is from the motherboard.

Tell me if it's 3G or 3Gs.And if you have problem only with power button or also with home button.

its the 3G. Power button only mate.

using 3.1.2 , after activating it found out that the baseband is 5.15.04. So not much i can do without redsnow damn

yes it posible .but no body still dont no how to inter in dfu mode with out pressing keys.and out from dfu mode with tiniumbrella...simple conect to itune and press update.when it begin onlin update it automaticaly inter in dfu mode.try and post result.let me know

Damn, I started to paint the ways for 3GS

Ok mates did it!

Did not need any power button at all

all that was needed is to flash a custom firmware that has 6.15 baseband in it! Was so damn easy! Hope this helps anyone out there.
