5.12 no unlock yet, wait .
lots of people r waiting

if ur phone is activated use sprit to jailbreak and use as costly ipod.
if not activated its a costly paper weight

there is a way to get factory unlock, depends what network ur iphone is on?
if it is orange uk and o2 uk it can be unlocked, but it is not cheap

Yes it can be unlocked no matter what firmware u have or baseband, it is an apple factory unlock and not some third party software if u need it doing let me know and I will get it done for u, the cost is 70 pounds
