apple blocked activation sim-so how unlock 3gs v4.0.2? - GSM-Forum

i have a iphone 3gs -customer tried reset stuck in apple logo-restored to version iPhone2,1_4.0.2_8A400_Restore.now in emergeny mode.

but now big problem is """"""""""....the apple has blocked the activation sim..."""""""""""""so THE SIM CARD INSERTED IN THIS IPHONE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE SUPPORTED

so how unlock?

TRIED LIMERA -STILL IN EMERGENCY MODE

Today Iphone 4 4.1 activation sim not activate.

Use limera1n to jailbreak..........Did u see limera1n logo when jailbreak

Did u see limera1n logo when jailbreak.... If not use another pc to jailbreak.....

After firmware 4.0 apple has blocked all activation sims for locked phones and the only way to unlock it i.e. to bypass the emergency screen is to insert an AT&T sim card in it, I had the same problem my phone was locked and i tried the activation sim card but when itunes would sync with the phone it would say Sim card inserted is not supported, and then after that i just inserted the AT&T one and it worked.

dear try again but just keep your itunes opened. it will work then follow your limerain screen..post your result....
