can an iphone 4 locked to AT&t network be unlocked to reiceve an 02 signal i had my phone stolen so am looking on ebay to buy a new one and dont want to buy one that i cant use please help me anybody

Iphone 4 can use H20 prepaid card without unlocked.
I've been using it for 6 months.

sorry i dont really understand all i know is this phone is locked to AT&T usa network and i want it to unlock it to be able to use an 02 sim card is this possible and if so how?

Before you buy the iPhone you have seen on E-bay Kathryn, you need to ask the seller this question: "Can you please tell me which Modem Firmware the phone currently has?". If they reply with anything other than 01.59 firmware, DO NOT buy the phone because you will not be able unlock it and neither will anybody else and that includes the dodgy stall holders down your local market.

iPhone 4 must be on baseband 01.59 as this is the only baseband that can be succesfully unlocked at the moment via software and as it's AT+T you cannot buy a factory unlock either.

Buyer beware.
