MuscleNerd and Planetbeing have made good progress on the iPhone 4 unlock, according to message tweeted by MuscleNerd early this morning.

Good progress on iPhone4 unlock with @planetbeing: Twitpic - Share photos on Twitter - injected cmd! (Akin to 3G Baseband Tool on Vimeo on 3G)

The screenshot below shows custom application execution similar to what was achieved 2 years ago on the iPhone 3G.

Stay tuned for additional updates on the unlock progress and the upcoming jailbreak for all iOS 4 devices.
