Baterry problem on 3gs ios 4.1

I am on ios 4.1 on IP3gs 32gb and the baterry goe like crazy in couple of hours but when i change the DATE on the PHONE like 2008 or older baterry last much longer.

The down thing is i cant instal nothing from app store, twitter doesnt work and some other apps but baterry is much much better.

I know i might sound stupid but thats is what i notice and i charge the iphone once a day but when i put the right date at least 2-3 times a day.

I have been using my phone from yesterday without charging at all but with the wrong date.

Can someone try the same thing and post results.

It looks i am the only one on this forum that have problems with the baterry runing out quik on the iphone 3g and 3gs after upgrading to 4.1 and baseband 6.15.

No one else tested this and give feedback.

I had the very same battery issue when I upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.1 whilst preserving the BB at 5.13 on Iphone 3GS, new Bootrom. My battery started to go from full charge to zero in a matter of 3-4 hours without any usage. Hence I downgraded again and the problem was eliminated.
It seems there is a compatibility issue if undertaking this procedure.

Have you upgraded whilst keeping old BB, then this could be the reason?

No when i bought the phone it was alredy with basebend 6.15. but my point is when u change the date on the iphone to ex-2009 baterry last for at least two days withouth charging which is a bit strange and i dont use SAM.
