Best activation card for Iphone 3GS? - GSM-Forum

There hasn't been a lot of chatter about phonebook/activation cards in the past month and we all know how things change. I've read, in a few other forums, where some people are having problems getting their DITS cards to work so I'm curious which is the best one to get?

There's a "Universal Acivation Card" on ebay for around $5.00. Has anyone tried this?

Non of them works directly anymore. You can activate the iPhone with any of the versions but when you change the Simcard it will go straight back to Emergency Call screen.
So you would have to install the cydia.pushfix.info source in cydia no matter what got get it working.

All activation cards use same settings, so will work same.

Thanks for the replies. For the cards that do work, like DITS (as reported above), can you use the iphone via wifi? All the demos I see of people using these cards show them using the cable to the PC.

You can use any sim card from the carrier that sold the iphone (e.g. if you bought wiht AT&T, you can use any AT&T card to activate it)
There's no need for universal cards anymore.
