which is the best ios for better signal 4s 5.0.1 , 5.1.1 , 6.1 , or 6.1.2

i am using 5.0.1

when compared to other iphone 4s mine always 1point low this is due to update or hardware problem?\

does update play a major role on network and battery backup

Apple iPhone 4S is an amazing smartphone configured to surprise users senses. I had iPhone 4S and I installed iOS 6.1 which is little effect on my battery but I can't get proper solution about Battery related problem.
