Biggest error ever!! Iphone 3gs - GSM-Forum

HI guys i got a Big problem!!!! i was on 4.0 on my iphone 3gs, now i used redsnow to unlock and install cydia but instead of using firmewire 4.0 i forgot and used 4.2.1 and installed, all i got was the apple logo and loading ball that never stoped! i tried to use sn0wbreez on 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 an any of them have worked i get the logo and a progress bar that never gets filed!! then a error 1611 plez help!!!

used redsnow, select orig 4.2.1 ispw, then tick dfu mode(pawn mode), after that open itunes then restore 4.2.1 custom firmware to preserve your baseband.

OK tried to do that at phone i get the progres bar that never moves it restarts and itunes give error1611. i origanaly had installed 4.0.1!

my 3gs is o.s 4.3 but i downgrade to 4.1 and i unlocked using no wifi
hope you can do it mate............. to your all 3gs. iphone

use tiny umbrella and start tss server and use ireb rc4 and get in pwned dfu mode and restore with custom file bro

ok bro i have shsh saved to mi computer did the pwned dfu mode an made a firmewire from son0wbreez trying to upgrade to 4.2.1 every ting seams to work but when i get the snowbreez logo in iphone and bar it dont do anything it restarts itune gives error 1611. tried the recovery mode loop fixer from ireb but all i get is the apple logo and the ball going around forever.!

tray this restore whit redsnow put iphone in dfu mode then restore this costum firmware

ok guys thanks i dont know exactly what i did just restarted computer and tried to do it again and it worked. thanks to all!!!..

this is easy way to d.grade 4.3 3gs to 4.1 if ur in dfu mode open itunes click restore select 4.1 firmware wait 10 sec. And open iboot. follow dfu. Dnt close iboot at the same time itunes got error 1015 run redsnow tick only cydia and ur done. Unlocked using no wifi or repo.
