I have well working phone
problem no network
i phone 3gs
modem 6.15
os 4.1

so i decided to restore to install cydia

so i restore with red snow 9.6.beta9

with 4.2 custome firmware

restoring sucessfully with i tune

but my phone is not power on

only stuck on dfu mode

black screen

so whts wrong i did please help its urgent

If your phone is going back into dfu after custom restore it is because you havent got the shsh blobs saved for that firmware!!

iPhone2_1_4.2 not support for shsh with phone

Restore iPhone2,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore

and read shsh with tinyumbrella-5.10.06 and show shsh downgrade version Restore

now my set is recovered with 5.0.1 os

but no servics after ultrasnow installed

now what to do

Install IOS 4.1 with no shsh needed. Then use redsnow to jailbreak and make sure u install ipad baseband. DONE!

Use latest redsnow no problem!
