can gsmfather unlock iphone 3gs? - GSM-Forum

Hi,

im just posting to make sure before i buy a gsmfather account to use my credit to unlock my iphone 3gs.

I live in australia and i was given an iphone 3gs from overseas. i believe it is locked to USA AT&T (MC153LL) according to:

So, i wish to unlock this phone by IMEI.

Gsm Father Online Terminal
USA - Cingular AT&T [31038]

^ is this the right option to choose to officially unlock the 3gs??

and how does this work? i buy an account > send IMEI > get a code back to unlock???

go to an unlock shop they can unlock it cheapily

like any phone shop in australia? i have it jailbroken... but its not...practical sometimes lol

if you have no knowledge will be better to seek a professional in your country to unlock your iphone

well if theres a shop in my country that can do, then i just wanna know what kind of shop lol. should i go to my apply shop? or a leading provider shop, or one of them small dodgy asian/inidian shops lol
