can not erase all contents from iphone 4s

Hi All,

i dont know what i have done - i have jailbreak on 5.1.1 but there were some error and i would like to complete erase all data - i dont know i have messed up and i cannot do anything while i m trying to restore it error 21 coming up and i cannot do anything now

please help me - any comments appreciated

From my experience if the device has been jailbroken you can't use 'Erase all content and settings' option since iPhone will freeze during the process. You can use this option safely only if the device is clean (ie. without jailbreak). Otherwise you can make backup of photos & video manually (copy-paste files from My Computer) and for contact backup use iTunes -> MS Outlook.. Also, if you need to backup SMS, Calendar, Notes use iTools..

To restore your iPhone you need to put it in DFU mode, open iTunes, hold SHIFT button and click on Restore button and select 5.1.1 IPSW for the corresponding iPhone model from here:

Try a Hard reset. Home button + power till you see screen boot up. 200% solution

Iphone 4s always goes n emergency boot mode so if it works let me know. Many a times people do it .

It doesnt work with iphone 4 though.

i have restored it and use different computer but i have lost all my data - i have done backup but when i have restored from backup itunes say data corrupted - thank you very much for all your help

Did you not save any data on iCloud?

How reset iphone 4 . When i click on reset nothing happend
