Cannot Restore to 3.1.3 from 3.1.3.. SHSH on Cydia though!? - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I am trying to get the unlock with ultrasn0w .93 but it throws me into an Emergency phone screen - so i decided to restore to 3.1.3 and try it again. Cydia says i have SHSH files on hand and I changed the host file to direct to saurik's server...

However, ITUNES says the file cannot be verified! Whats going on? Did Cydia lie to me and it actually didn't save anything? I tried with TSS Umbrella server running in the background to no avail.

Or is there a fix for ultrasn0w .93 showing up only to the emergency screen??? Why am I the only one it's not working for!?!

Yesterday Saurik's 74.208.105.171 -> gs.apple.com wasn't working, but 74.208.10.249 -> gs.apple.com was OK

I have a 3Gs... Actually I was and wasnt successful. I was able to restore to the factory 3.1.3 but now I am stuck with an unactivated iphone 3000 km (bulgaria) from the native country the SIM/iphone is from (canada).. Apparently when i got my refurb iphone at the apple store they stuck in the wrong sim or something but i was still able to use mine walking out of there? Im not able to activate it with the original sim - stuck at emergency screen. I am on Fido, but I guess they messed it up with Rogers.

Now im trying with a hacktivated 3.1.3 ipsw on the new bootloader. it hangs on "Preparing iPhone for restore" and then i get a 160X Error... I deleted the apple computer\ iphone files like redmondpie says, and iReb (ih8sn0w) is useless i still get the same error..

None of the hacktivated 3.1.3's work for me

I am on iboot 6.4 and 5.12.01 baseband if that matters

afaik when you are on a higher boot you cant restore any ipsw which is customize or hactivated only original ipsw allow..

but also you need original carrier sim..

Heres the thing I have the original carrier sim. I am on an active roaming plan too. I took it into the apple store back in canada to get a refurb and it worked perfectly for 2 months. now im overseas and its not letting me activate it.
