cannot solve different sim dedected problem in iphone 3gs try every method??

iphone is 3gs 4.0.1?

May be reported phone,
anyway,try to restore again & activate with iphone activated card.

I got like same & fixed.

Yes. I just fixed a 3g and 3gs both with 4.0.1 version

all u need to use above mentioned process..
if not sucesseded let me know i can over team viewer..
it must work..
all u have to cope lock down folder inside main lockdown folder from post ..

For the fist time I receive today 2 iPhones locked to O2 UK with the same problem. I flashed one of them even 2 times with iOS4.0.1 but again "Different SIM detected". It seems to me that when flashing with iTunes, it doesn't remove activation information so it just asks for the original SIM that activated for the first time that iPhone. But I solved the problem by browsing through iPhoneBrowser and deleting some folders conatined in /private/var/root/Library/ "Lockdown" folder and I leaved there just three files, and then rebooted the phone. "Different SIM detected" was gone

You can also use WinSCP, but it is a little harder to work with so I use iPhoneBrowser for easier usage...

So remove the three folders listed below "Lockdown" folder in the tree and leave just the three files that are on the photo on the right hand window

yes lock down folder with that just three files is only required to get rid of problem in library folder no matter how u access that folder via browser with cable or via terminal with winscp ..
