Cant Boot 3gs ios 4.2.1 bb6.15. Stuck at recovery - GSM-Forum

Hi guys,

I j/b and unlocked my 3gs 4.2.1. 3 weeks ago with redsnow. changed the bb to 6.15.00. Had to boot it tethered all the time. Then one time a friend tried to untether (with snowbreeze??? sic) it but couldn't.

Tried to restore but got error 1015 which is now gone. Now I had to downgrade to ios 4.1 but getting error 3194 when tryn to restore. I think/thought

I saved my shsh when i unlocked with ultrasnow via cydia. TinyUmbrella not working. changed my etc/host file on windows to 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com. Still not able to restore. Still stuck at recovery mode.

Please help! I really want to use this iphone

just restor it with original 4.2.1 firmwar and , dont modify the host file (delete all the lines that end with gs.apple.com and save it) you will get error 1015 which is normal
now you will stay in recovery mod open redsn0w and tick on just enter dfu mod then restor with a custom firmwar 4.2.1 now you will not get any error and the iphone will go to emergency mod without tethred now jaibreak it with redsn0w......etc and your done 10000%
