Consumer Reports: Protective Case Helps Resolve Iphone 4 Flaw

Quote:
Accordingly, iPhone 4 will lose signal strength when your finger or hand touches the left downside spot. Some blogs even recommend Apple to recall the devices.
Our Easy Solution: To protect your investment, there are testing reports showing protective cases enable to mitigate the reception issue of iPhone 4. It can not only dress up your iPhone 4 but also prevent against signal blocking so that you can feel free to enjoy extending phone call as usual.
I read the above words on Consumer Reports, and then I went to buy an iPhone 4 protective case from http://www.tinydeal.com/R001/msc6640-p-6253.html. It seems that Consumer Reports is right that my iPhone 4 work perfectly well now. I've felt slightly not correct with my phone before, but I doubt if that was some illusion. Anyway, iPhone is the most cutting-edge technology, i think we should tollerate some flaws.

I don't know as i'm no expert. But Consumer reports said that. I think may be your figure's material is insulated from the signal, but the material of protective cases isn't.

You reminded me of something. A protective case, which is hard without elasticity, can prevent your finger from deepening into the spot. Between your figure and the phone is the case, which is just the space for signal transmission.

I think an ordinary one is OK. Upon what I said above, the signal weakening should be a space structure problem.

Well i am not sure if the protective case strengthens signal, but this is nice information. I have protective cases for my iphones and other gadgets, got them from Chinabuye, they are China online store. But i think Thinkgeek is costlier, isn't it. I ordered all these cases at free ship cost from Chinabuye, very reliable.
