Hi all,

Having trouble installing the ipad baseband on my 3gs (old bootrom) with redsn0w.
Would someone be able to tell me where I can download a custom ispw with the ipad baseband included. I found one but I can not use pirate bay with my isp.

would be very gratefull

what version of fw u have now? what is the problem with install baseband?

anyway u can make custom fw by sn0wbreezee, download here-

but if u can install ipad bb ur current version it will be better and easy (ipad bb update don't work with winxp so use win7 and last version of redsn0w it will be work 100%)

NOTE: before install ipad bb must be check ur serial to its safe for update or not.

Hi,
Yes I am on 4.1 but I get a "please wait" loop on my phone during the install of ipad baseband.
At bit more detail here: 3GS just says searching (long story ahead)
I am using win7

Downgrad to 4.1 and you have Error 1015 then klick Tinyumbrella Exit Recover

Downgrade with Orginal Firmware 4.1 no Custom

Found by Google Search or ipsw Downloader

don't downgrade first, u need to update you bb by redsn0w and u need a good speed internet connection because of redsn0w first bb download from net in background then write to ur phone when u try to update bb.

sure it will work just try.
