How can I downgrade 3G V4.0.2 to 4.0.1 ?

pls can u give me the methode ?

With which software can I downgrade ?
How can I have firmware ?

pls help me.

do simple flash download 3g 4.0.1 put phone in dfu mode and flash it then normal unlock

but 3g 4.0.2 can also be unlock with red snow selecting 4.0 firmware

Plug the phone into the computer...

Turn it off

Hold the power and home key for ten seconds

Release the power key but carry on holding the home key for a further ten seconds.

The computer should start installing the drivers and tell you something's connecting in DFU

after having "dfu mode" with which software must I downgrade ?

Did you save your 3G shsh in cydia?, Apple stop signing IOS 4.0.1 for 3G,3GS and iphone 4.
If you don't save your shsh then you can downgrade it back only to 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 since apple is not checking 3G for that firmware.
If you save your shsh then you can downgrade it back to 4.0.1.

I download the firmware from iclarified but itune does't recognised.

what can I do ?

OK here:

1: download the firmware again (the file size for firmware IOS 4.0.1 must be 320.2MB) if not re download it again and find another download site.
2: change the host file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc) and add 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com at the end (save it and close)
3: open umbrella, at the top right hand corner click Start TSS Server (it will be green icon and running)
4: open itunes then click shift restore to point it to your save downloaded IOS 4.0.1 firmware.
Hope this will help.
About don't recognized is that maybe your download is incomplete.
