This may have already been said, but the ONLY iphone that can be downgraded to 4.1 without SHSH is Iphone 3GS.

This is because Apple are still signing 4.1 for 3gs ONLY!!!!!

its tethered. if you dont have shsh save for ios 4.3.3 you will end up on dfu mode after downgrading. itunes will not recognize your device. and tinyumbrella also. its impossible to end up in recovery mode after restoration. i tried it many times. the only way to exit dfu mode after restoration is boot tethered options in redsnow.

this is just an unknown solution, not a real for sure.
