Member: 220143 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 108 | Downgrade iPhone 4 by installing old baseband chip? Is it possible to unlock iPhone 4 by removing baseband chip and replacing it with an older baseband chip? I am very good with BGA works. If possible need to buy old baseband chipset. Thanks |

Member: 144640 Status: Offline Sonork: nnaeem11 Thanks Meter: 238 | u have to change the same baseband chip with same ram on the board It’s similar to our baseband chip replacement service for 3G and 3GS, but this method requires two different chips to be replaced – the Infineon X-GOLD 618 processor chip and the Intel/Numonyx 128MB NOR DDR chip. |

Member: 103024 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 616 | yes 100 % possible tested by me , the only problem is you must to change baseband & sd ram on board to avoid imei mismatch means 0499xxx imei, when imei change to this 0499xxx you cant activate via itunes and you have to unlock using gevey sim also the best choice but i dont know if its possible is to program the basband ic with 01.59 baseband and we can unlock viua ultrasn0w method |

Member: 274734 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 20 | its pointless to do this stuff.. i think it would be cheaper and hassle free to purchase official unlock rather than waste time with this until unless the baseband chip is totally bricked. |
