My iPhone 3Gs ios 4.3.3 was stuck in emnergency calls only mode after uninstalling SAM as it did not work...Used this method and it is all good again

I had the similar Issue and when i used the ifunbox_en, the prog kept on closing when my phone was connected, so it didnt help, But found that redsnow software Fixes this issue. I had tried mnay options but nothing worked. However redsnow did the trick.

So if you are using ver 4.2.1, download redsnow and also download the ipsw file.

Then Use Redsnow to verify the ipsw and let its magic do the trick. You can let me know if you face any issues. But I got my phone both Jailbroken and Unlocked - Its working great.
