I have an iphone 3Gs old bootrom and i tried restoring to OS 4.0 but keep getting error 1002 message...can anyone help me out?

same here... im having the same problem as yours.... restoring it to 4.0 old boot iphone 3g...

Dear All,

I tried all version on 3G 16GB but always same Error (1002) while restoring. iPhone always on Restore mode also, cant update / restore.

when try to restore/update, on iPhone display its showroom formatting / restoring bar like 99% finished just at the end its unable to complete for restoring & gives Error 1002.
anybody solved such problem?
