error 3194 on update/restore - GSM-Forum

I am trying to update my phone to 4.3.4 firmware but it keeps giving me the 3194 error

the current firmware installed on it is 4.3.3 ,5.16.06

so what should I do? I changed the host files too and is in DFU mode but still the same error.

Apple not sign too the 4.3.4 firmware...

You must upgrade your iphone to 4.3.5...

how do i use the shsh?
i have iphone 3gs 16gb 4.2.1 5.15.04 and would like to update to 4.3.4 as there is an unthethered jb.
how can I do so?

brother you have to clean all file from host GO c/windows/system32/driver/etc/host and open with notepad clean all file and save then open itunes restore with stock firmware 4.1 should be you get error at the end run tinyumberall exit recovery mode.. that's it then jailbreak with redsnow in redsn0w tick install ipad baseband .......... unlock with ultrasn0w form cydia ...........

thank you ,it has worked but I don't want to update the baseband as there is a gps problem if you do so.

one more question how come the 4.1 firmware was restored and the others give 3194 error?
i thought previous firmware are not signed anymore

if you want to restore 4.1 you must be have shsh.

i believe the shsh were present that's why it didn't give me any problem during the restore right?

ur wrong 4.1 its not signed!
4.2.1/4.3.3/4.3.4/4.3.5 are signed!!
