Member: 1283129 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 135 | FAQ request ---- iOS signing/error 3194 I refurbish and unlock lots and lots of iPhones. 10+/week = 500+/year. What I am often confused by is the issue of signing iOS versions. For example on a 3GS you can only update to stock 6.1.2 (or whatever the newest version is) but you can also restore to stock 4.1 because it is unsigned. What does that mean, unsigned? I know if 6.1.2 is the current version and I try to manually restore to 6.1 or 6.0 it will give error 3194 which means unsigned but if you restore to 4.1, no problem. Thanks in advance. Any help is bad for the tobacco industry but good for the public |
