Fuzzyband gone bonkers!! - GSM-Forum

I have an Iphone 3G IOS 4.1 Baseband 5.14 with fortunately Bootloader 5.8.
Somewhere on this forum I found a method to unlock my locked iphone by downgrading my baseband to a lower version. I successfully jailbreak'd my device with snowbreez, and since my cydia wasn't showing up 'fuzzyband', I downloaded the deb from internet and installed it through ifunbox - NOW - whenever I try to run fuzzyband it shows me a pop up saying 'querying modem' and takes me back to the sprinboard.. it doesn't work!

- what do I do?

I'm considering an iOS downgrade to 3.1.3 and try running fuzzyband again..

i have succesfully download fuzzy band but
fuzzy band is showing "5.14 baseband not supported

u must need 05.08 baseband

you might wouldn't have the proper bootloader i.e. 5.8 ... download and run "forecast" - it'll tell you your bootloader
