Member: 1234128 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Help me unlock iPhone 4 Then my request for help A friend of mine got me an iPhone 4 16GB from someone he knows and it seems to be locked, I've put my MicroSim in it but it doesn't show any network It has iOS 4.3.3 (8J2) Model : MC603FD Modem Firmware (BaseBand) : 04.10.01 I don't know which carrier it is locked to and don't even know the country (I live in Egypt and the man that my friend got it from bought it from a tourist ) I want to know step by step how can it be unlocked By the way, I had a BB Storm before and in this great forum I got an unlocking code for the IMEI number, will it be the same easy way with iPhone 4 ? Thanks in advance |

A reliable supplier website is at gsmfast.org you can check that out and even check network only first if you need. |

Member: 1234128 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | I would like a factory Unlock but I don't know the country or carrier it is locked to Gevey SIMs are available here in Egypt (I've heard that) but how is it compared to Factory Unlock + Jailbreak ? I like it to be simple not complicated, just like the BlackBerry unlocking went with me (being able to update software and such) |

When confirmation that unlock is done, you need to connect to iTunes with wrong sim card and the screen will display that "Your iPhone has been unlocked". Please view attachment. There is NO unlock code or anything to mess about. Very simple. |

Member: 1234128 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | The problem is I am not 100% sure that the phone is locked ! I've read that locked iPhones would give : "Invalid Sim" or "Sim Not Supported" but my phone gives me one network bar and then "No Service", it even reads the ICCID of the Sim Is there any method to be 100% sure it is locked or unlocked ? |

Member: 1234128 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | I checked in my city and they said Gevey Sim unlocking (or something similar to Gevey) will cost 350 LE (60$) and full "Official" Unlocking will cost 750 LE (126$) So, which one to choose ? The Gevey Sim method seems way overpriced here while the "Official" unlocking seems very fishy to me |
