help a newbie unlock 4.0.2 3gs - GSM-Forum

i want to unlock 2 iphonesin 2 different conditions one of them which i want to unlock first is on baseband
5.13.04 firmware 4.0.1 i want to restore it to 4.0.2 but when i click on shift restore it tells me cannot restore
pls how do i go about d restore firstly

2.the second one showsitunes in recovery mode how can i go about this to jailbrake $ unlock

here is my present problem d 3g iphone was on i baseband 5.13.04 firmware 4.0.1 so i updated to 4.2.1 and used redsnow 0.9.6b6 to install cycdia $ ipad baseband so now its on baseband 6.15.00 i used this method http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f456...guide-1151335/ in unlocking but no network what do i do?

go to cydia
add source: repo666.ultrasn0w.com
then install it then reboot.

thanks 4 quick reply can i do that without a wireless connection?i dont have a wireless connection, cos i went to cydia it tells me network error
