HELP unlocking 3GS with 3.1.2 - GSM-Forum

I have a 3GS Feb/2010 built 3.1.2 5.11.07 6.04 loader. I put Redsnow on it and jailbroke it, I tried to unlock from ATT with blacksnow but my phone is sitting with searching for signal. I have attempted many times to re-do redsnow and taken blacksnow on and off many times. I attempted balckra1n but I do not get the tear drop on the screen for some reason. I attempted that for many times. I cannot find a clean restore IPSW so it would pass apple check in itunes. Would you anybody have any way out with this.

Tried that, I dont get the blackra1n tear drop on the iphone...I dont understand why that would happen

Tried it, nothing. This is the weird part, if I remove blacksnow the signal is sitting at no bars and network, but as soon as i do ultrasnow it sits in searching for signal and then times out to no signal after about 10 min. I tried resetting with and without ultrasnow, I even reflashed with iPhone2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Custom_Restore and still the same thing. Just being confused as to why I cant get the blackra1n icon on the iphone and have to go redsnow. Anything else I missed??

very strange i had this samething i reflashed mine and it worked fine blackrain was there maybe if you try a different flash file? br

try changing computer for unlocking with blackra1n.i had same problem.good luck! and for no signal,reset network settings!

What did you use to reflash yours with?

use resdsnow to jailbreak and then use the 3.1.2 no wifi from ramjan

iphone 3gs 3.1.2 but don't forget to change computer for unlocking..or change usb ports.

Tried the ramjan idea, had to reflash the phone as it would not even boot up, gonna try the file. I am having some issues with itunes telling me the build is not compatible to my phone, is this normall or is there a way to bypass?

FIshlove, first thanks for your help, I downloaded the file and tried to restore through itunes, and it is telling me the devise isnt eligible for the requested built. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you all for your help, I have no idea what I did, for the un****th time re-loaded software and blacksnow and it worked. No idea two days and must have done the same proceedure 50 times and that is no joke. Thank you for your help.
