How to activate iphone 3.1.2 to use black snow - GSM-Forum

hi friends.i have an iphone that is not factory unlocked.i restored it to 3.1.2 and use blackra1n rc3 but it doesnt active the phone.and i havnt the default sim card to activate it with itunes.whats the solution?can blackra1n activate the iphone or not?thank you all.

u can restore with custem frimware activated only

no need any supported sim card with this Custom Fw.. it is really GREAT.. it is active now...

blackra1n is woking with custom fw..?

I dont really know whats the problem in this.

I have done 4 pcs 3G today. Only the first one did not open the springboard after runing blackra1n.exe RC3

But everything seemed to be running 100% ok.

I got the idea to use a TEST-SIMCARD, those blank sim from motorola.
Only with this sim i could get acces to my springboard for further operation and I could unlock my 3G with succes.

But in 3 other devices it went smooth, without the need of any sim. Just install the 3.1.2 firmware (not custom), run blackra1n, open blackra1n on springboard from iphone and install "st0rm"

In 2 device, storm hangs the first time, just run it again.

The device I had to use the test-simcard with, was previously on 3.1.2 custom firmware, but i could NOT get blackra1n installed on it

No need any sim card.blackra1n can hactivate your iphone.restore again with clean firmware of 3.1.2

my phone is allready flash with 3.1 so i want to know do i need to upgrade this or not & 2nd can any 1 tel me where i can download 3.1.2 without custome

After run blackra1n me iphone blank screen ..!
what i have to do reboot automatic or manual
plz help me
