can't dowgrade iphone3 3gs in itunes restore

how come when i try to downgrade to to 6.0 or 4.1 itunes gives me 3194 error as soon as it try's to verify firmware in restore mode. if i restore it with the update iPhone2,1_6.1_10B141_Restore it lets me restore it. i am reading on here where people are downgrading but itunes won't let me do it. i have done host thing in c windows system32 drivers ect host !!!! with no luck . has apple done something to some of these phones so they can't be downgraded.

hehehe, according to number of your posts, it is obvious why u can not downgrade yor 3gs.

Yes Apple did something, but not to phones, but with signing firmwares. You can not just simply choose your favorite firmware and restore it. There too many things that u need to read and consider. Like: SHSH blobs. Signed v4.1 firmware. Stiched firmwares with blobs, TSS server in tinyumbrella, custom firmware and more....
