how to change baseband of iphone 4 ios 5 - GSM-Forum

i updated my iphone 4g to ios 5 (gevey sim) but no network on
gevey sim the baseband updated is 04.11.08 and gevey sim is not supporting that
guyzz help me out and it is not downgrading also... :-(
and give me the solutions to change the baseband to which it supports plzzz
help me out

I'm sorry for that,as for the baseband you cannot downgrade it and gevey sim is also not supported on that baseband now,may be you need to wait for the next release of gevey sim which will support the new baseband.Try avoiding stock firmware and rather use custom firmware if you rely on ultrasn0w or gevey sim whenever apple release an update.
I'm really sorry to say that you're stuck for now.

hi moh,Good day to you.you can only downgrade your iPhone 4g if you save the SHSH BLOBS in tiny-umbrella or iFAITH before,or you try it to program in another shop and maybe they save your SHSH BLOBS and you are lucky enough if they did it, you can downgrade it back..

thats the only thing you can do,or else you will wait for the new gevey sim for os5

I think you can do this via redsn0w, but it's risky, I bricked my iPhone 2 years back when I was doing the same. Be careful!
