How to downgrade my iphone 4 from iOS 5 to iOS 4.3.3? - GSM-Forum

Hi there

I dumped my iOS when it was on 4.3.3 with iFaith and now from iOS 5 I love to go back to iOS 4.3.3 but how do I need to downgrade it because when I tried to restore true the itunes it shows me an error 3194 or even sometimes an error 20
Can someone help me to downgrade my iphone 4 from iOS 5 to iOS 4.3.3

no you cant, unless you have saved your shsh using tinyumberella

Replace this Etc Ur problem 100% solve!

This is my tested Host file :2shared - download downgrade etc.rar

just build a signed ipsw with your blobs using ifaith and restore with it. it will restore straight through.

software.usm is right.
the host file is corupted or u forgot to uncheck 'set hosts to cydia on exit' in tinyumbrella

to downgrade after dumped shsh with iFaith simply open iFith and build custom ipsw using shsh u dumped, put your device in pawned dfu (can be done using iReb as well) then open iTunes and do a custom restore (shift+restore and select the ipsw just created by iFaith - usualy located on your desktop)

open ifaith 1.4 exe click show available shsh with connected your device now download your 4.3.3 backup file and make a signed ipsw file with original iPhone3_1_4.3.3_8J2_Restore_2 file it will be located on your desktop now you can restore your device with hosts set to cydia server.

Br 20 error change ur cable change ur Itunes and change ur system!
