Member: 640135 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 40 | try 3.1.3 firmware and then jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.4 when asked to browse firmware search for ipsw 3.1.2 then select install Cydia. for unlocking u need to consider your baseband which u can see by forecast, after that try this for unlocking http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f456...siest-1264324/ NB: the above method only works for unloking bb 05.13 and below also 06.15 ipad baseband. |

Member: 74347 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Finally fixed it thank ***. Used redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16 with a std standard iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw and ticked cydia and ipad baseband. After a while it would just get stuck at the Installing Activation Bundles but reading the following helped me a lot... After some other successes and (initial) failures, I was eventually able to get RedSn0w 0.9.6rc9 to run on a clean 4.3.1 iPhone 4 with retained baseband, but now I'm stuck at "Installing Activation Bundles". Anyone got any suggestions, or thoughts on how long this should be taking? edit: After leaving it for ten minutes or so, it ended up in Recovery Mode. Using TinyUmbrella to Exit Recovery Mode, I get to what seems to be the normal "iTunes Activation" screen (with signal, battery, slide for emergency call), so back to my laptop to see if I can restore from backup! Woohoo! From Here Thanks to the above for your help. Regards |
