SOLUTION,
REMOVE BATTRAY THEN CLEAN CONNECTOR, leave about 3 hours
put back then charge full with charger then restore in dfu mode

done

Tried that, no luck. I can't put it into dfu mode as the power button is not working. Any other ideas?

hi everyone inmy case i hade error 4 on iphone 4 model 3.2 while triying to update to ios 7.1.1 after my iphone 4 entered dfu mode and wont exit it so what i did after error 14 is to exit itunes and unplug your iphone after that run itunes as administartor and plug your iphone then the error 14 shouldn't appear
worked for me

This error 14 is due to corrupt SWare either earlier iTunes and or iPhone update software!

Mild Reheat the whole board and then restore it while the board still warm.. restore only board/battery and charging connector. tested by me...
