The jailbreak for Iphone 4.2.1 is sitll untethered. That means that if you shutdown your Idevice after jailbreak or if you don't have charge anymore, you'll have to connect it to computer and run redsn0w again to put your Iphone in tethered mode.

To jailbreak, use redsn0w 9.6b6. With the original Iphone 4 4.2.1 firmware and click on install cydia... After Jailbreak, your iphone restart, but it will hang on apple logo (untethered mode). Run redsn0w again to put it in tethered mode.

can you help me because I already jail breaking with red snow but when unlock king with ultra snow always stack,

Maybe it's Photoshop but if this is real then we Know a way to unlock is there. Wish it was a vid though.

i updtae my iphone 3g to 4.2.1 and i use redsnow and install ultrasnow.. but my baseband still the same... i dont have signal... help me please
