Follow These Steps:

1- Plug in Your Iphone / Ipod FIRST Then Turn it off.

2- Run RedSn0w

3- Browse your ipsw file that you installed on your device

5- Follow the instructions provided by Redsn0w and your device will be JAILBROKEN

Just to note, this will ONLY work on iPod Touch 2g and the unit MUST be a none MC model.
Model can be found in Settings -> General -> About

what about iphone 3gs any solution please becaus ihave one and i don't have original sim so big problem for jailbreak . i wait for your replay

@Marouenbt what version software and Baseband is the handset on?

Also this is not the final release. Dev team have stated that a final version is on the way so all we can do is be patient. Everyone asking when it will come out isnt going to make the Dev Team work any faster. My personal iPhone 3Gs is on 4.0 so i am also waiting for jailbreak solution. So i think we need to realise that it will be done when its done.

If people are wanting to see for updates try iClarified.

I have an iphone 3G 16GB and Tested it and it worked and as you said it only works on ipod touch non mc models.

Unfortunately it wont work on iphone 3GS yet
you can wait for the next update that will be compatible with 3Gs
