How to solve error3194 on iphone 3gs

I have been trying to restore an iPhone 3gs,is showing this error 3194 so I wanted to change the host to that of cydia server,so I used this but for the tiny umbrella [in advance setting] the box to mark is not highlighted so plz what will I do or does it mean my host is not correct.Am using window 7 32bit

Attempt to fix error 3194:

Went to the hosts file in windows folder, put the
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
at the bottom, doesn't fix it.





Emergency screen after greenpois0n 5
1 - restore your phone 3gs or 4 with 4.2.1

2 - after error like 1015 alse

3- jailbrake it with green pois0n

4- after jailbrake done u r in emergency screen

5- now open redsn0w beta 5 and jailbrake it

Enter DFU mode with Redsnow

Restore With 4.2.1 Custom Firmware

Jailbreak With Greenp0ison

Install Cydia with Redsnow

2.4.2.1 _Custom_Restor.ipsw
3.4.2.1 official Restore.ipsw

Easy steps
==========
Must put your iPhone in DFU mode
open itunes 10.1 and press shift and select CUSTOM FIRMWARE 4.2.1
it will complete update without any error.and set will be emergency mod

Open Redsnow version 0.9.6b5
Select the 4.2.1 official Restore.ipsw
then, just do a jailbreak

just tick mark only
1. install cydia
3.install ipad baseband

when jailbreak done, then wait for a while ....
and when you see only apple logo dont do any thing
just open redsnow, then select the 4.2.1 firmware then press next
just only tick mark(just boot tethered right now )
And its all done.......

Enjoy the result now..

cut host file and paste to desktop.,

restart pc., PROBLEM SOLVED!

edit hot on notebook......and write this....

apple stop signing lower version of IOS

error 3194-occur when trying to restore the device in low version of IOS...

you can restore your device in low version if there's a saved SHSH BLOBS
and depend on version saved on server.

error 3194 when restoring IOS6 solution...

closed itunes

goto my computer/windows/system32/drivers/etc- cut your host and save on your desktop

open itunes and restore your device...

so you mean no hope for me even with cydia server[ tiny umbrella] except i get ios6

am having this little problem,I can drag the host file to notepad,do every thing but after that how will I save it to normal format [it can only save to txt format which is not the normal format] am using window 7 32bit and secondly how will I set the setting on tinyumbrella since is not highlighting or should I just open tinyumbrella and close it?Plz help help me.
