Greenpoison will provide an untethered jailbreak and I also hear the latest Redsnow too.

To unlock, install Ultrasn0w once you've got Cydia.

Ok Guys

you're taking a fake road!
So if you're iPhone 4 is in this baseband (01.59.00)you can to unlock it, by to install Ultrasn0w once you've got Cydia but in another baseband like 03.10.01 or 2.10.04 you can't but you can to jailbreak it, with "greenpoison" or "redsn0w".
For your problem you must to take "redsn0w",it's better for you because greenpoison doesn't active the iPhone, he's just to jailbreak it!

when i start jailbreak my iphone 4 with greenpois0n
i enter it in dfu mode it start normal but at one time it say error

- unable to mount user fillesystem !

after one minute it finich but iphone stuk on logo

use Redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 for jailbreak this is tethered Jailbreak . like this ok

but ineed Untethered Jailbreak for iphone4 _ 4.2.1 baseband 01.59.00
