iphone 2G or 3G....???

u need to activate (use redsn0w for exemple)

then unlock use :

i think is 2g cos i found this on the back (a1241)

yes sir only network problem i can do anything but no network

if it is jailbroken ( if you have cydia) then just download the unlock from cydia , its called ultrasn0w or somthing like that and if its not jailbroken then jailbreak it with redsn0w. whatever you do tho, dont update, you'll never get the unlcok if you update the iphone

go to menu / network and look iff there is "enable 3g"

you can download from : http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
