how to unlock iPhone 4G 4.0.2 - GSM-Forum

Hi!
Can anyone help me?
I have a new 4G iOS4.0.2 iPhones (firmware modem: 01.59.00) to unlock (that was, you can use any sim card).

1. I put the card into the phone operator.
2. I connect to iTunes and activate it.
3. Then run limera1n.exe
4. I am doing jailbreak
5. I start the phone without SIM card
6. Install cydia
7. cydia> manage> sources> repo666.ultrasn0w.com (Install)
8. iphone is restarting
9. Polish put my SIM card, a message pops up on the iPhone with a bad SIM card

What am I doing wrong? gsmhosting'u saw the posts that people have removed the ascending order using ultrasn0w just in this version of firmware

All who are facing this problem just do these simple steps..
no need to jailbreak or flash etc..i was stuck with same problem...
finaly i got it from other forum..
What U have to Do::..
just sit on it for a while and follow steps..

1-All you need to remove the previous activation, for that you need to follow the below procedures.

2.1- Install OpenSSH in you iphone using Cydia (search for OpenSSH)
2.2 Install WinSCP for Windows (WinSCP :: Download)

3. Use WinSCP to connect to iPhone
Windows Guide To Using WinSCP With iPhone

4. Follow the below steps:

4.1 Download patched lockdownd file

4.2 Navigate to to /private/var/root/Library/ and copy lockdown folder to your desktop (for backup just in case - this you need to do)

4.3 Delete that folder from phone

4.4 Unzip downloaded patched file and upload to phone to replace the folder you just deleted

4.5 Naviagte into patched folder and make sure file pemissions are set to 644 for all files (follow the procedure in Step 3 above)

4.6 Reboot phone.With any sim..(As fone is already unlocked)
enjoy all sims..
